Obviously, not Fedora, but in that paragraph, it talks about firmware not being up-to-date and mentions ltunify to check the version and fwupdmgr to update it. Oddly, I did find a reference to firmware on: It looks like the last update was 2 years ago and just this morning, I fired up G-Hub on my wife’s Windows 10 machine and it noted one new firmware update to some other mouse. But, I’ve got wonder if that repository has been abandoned. I never thought to check Github (it never occurred to me that a company like Logitech would ever open source anything). Linus do a youtube spot on companies refusal to provide the support their customers cry out for.Which would occasionally say it was updating firmware as well as updating itself. but since again you need to use G Hub to unlock onboard profile support, it's still a deadend.Įspecially now when linux is getting a real boost due to products like the Steam Deck and accessory sales continue to grow, how does it possibly make sense for Logitech to not support it? ![]() I recently purchased a Logitech G915 TKL (for which there is no specific manual, big surprise) after seeing it supported onboard profiles only to find that I can't program it because I don't have a winblows/mac pc. ![]() I love (not really) how companies take the effort to create decent hardware then totally fail on the software that is required to support it.įor years people have been begging for Logitech to port their G Hub software over to Linux, and for years their only responses are to say they'll pass the info along or to spout about how important their customers are to them, while doing nothing to address the issue. ![]()
